Wa-Hay! Who needs the '2 world wars and 1 world cup' song when you have a 4 year old to aid international relations. Picture the scene: Stu & Olivia in the pool at different ends into the pool rolls Jabba-oski the Hut (the German version - get it?) and Olivia shouts 'Daddy that man is really really fat'. Who says the Germans don't have a sense of humour, some of the other pool users even curled their lips.
Today we went into the village 2km away, ruled over by the Abbey (am I a German village?) you can see over the campsite. It was complete with bendictine monks and on the plus side a butchers and bakers selling the monks produce (very good bbq tonight with croissants for brekkie).
32 degrees today, so essential pool and park time as well. We think we are settling into this holiday lark!
