End of day 2, highlight of the day (for Olivia anyway) was when Stu found the old German busybody from the pitch next door staring into our car. When asked what he was doing he replied "what does your number plate say?" Stu said "it is just a numberplate" and the German said "it is illegal, what Country are you from? where is you EU flag?" at which point Olivia rounded the corner and said excitedly "Daddy you are clever you have made a new friend"!!!!!!!!! Stu walked off like John Cleese. As you can hopefully see from the pictures below we have had a lovely day chilling by the pool and/or in the Park. We are looking forward to making some more new German friends tomorrow!
Please note the slightly rushed/panicky look on Stu's face by the French sign. We had just got off the Chunnel with all the freight lorries behind when he insisted in stopping to have his picture taken.
glad you have had a good day, but whatever you do don't mention the war or 1966, hope tomorrow goes well
