On the plus side we did overtake Jenson Button's Formula 1 car (albeit on the back of a lorry) Stu says its all to do with the caravans rear diffusser?!
First language barrier was encountered when Stu filled up with fuel and the lady enquired whether he was (said with heavy accented french accent) "Pump-et 6?" Abby asked what was the rest of the score before realising the football season is yet to start and the petrol attendant probably didn't know that Portsmouth are known as Pompey.
Still the local fromagerie has provided well this evening - currently enjoying some great soft cheese and cold wine (ish the fridge is a bit dodgy). Love the hillbilly Cummins x
PS We have raised a glass to the end of the fighting cocks this evening. Gloria Finis
