Well its half way day today and I've been allowed to blog on my own! So its Kareo-jokey time based on todays events...you know what to do just sing out the punchlines.
As you can see dinner was cheap tonight it was just...'a few squid'. (you'll get the hang of this and actually it was 9 quid for 3 squid so not that cheap!)
I have a hearing problem and Abby said 'this squid is very rubbery' I said...'thankyou very much'
I said tomorrow we are going to have mussels cooked 2 different ways Ab said ' that sound very shellfish' so I've changed my mind.
Today on the beach Olivia nearly jumped out of her skin when Abby pointed out a deflated life size toy crocodile, I said to Olivia it's a good job that it isn't a muslim toy crocodile...'because they blow themselves up'.
Last night I was explaining to Olivia that last year we were on the Dalmation coast and this year on the Istrain coast but both were in Croatia. This morning whilst reading a disney book she points to the black and white dog and says ' look Daddy a Croatian doggy' almost as good as last year when Abby said to Olivia that she liked the sound of crickets in the evening on holiday and the next morning she asked me if I heard the rugbys last night.
Enough.
FOD:
The giant squid can be 18m long, weigh 900kg and have eyes the size of basketballs, the sepoilid squid is 1.8cm and weighs 700mg. The average squid lives for 1-2 years.

ReplyDeleteYou are certainly sounding like dad everyday stuart, but don't worry ab eventually it will go in one ear and out the other, or on the otherhand the Christmas bets of what jokes will used will be getting more difficult with two of them to contend with. Wait till the other two join in. It was good to talk to you the other evening it does make it seem you are all a little closer. Look forward to our next chat. I bet Olivia is making sure her braid stays in place, but what about Eloise, whats happened to her master piece. Safe journey on your next destination. Love to all mum, dad, nannie and grandad xxxx
